Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.26% in Dec 21–Mon
MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.26% from December 21 through Monday from 0.32% in the previous week, and reached 8.26% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The prices for sugar grew by 0.38%, for sunflower seed oil by 0.04%, for flour by 0.46%, and the prices for poultry fell by 0.12%.
The prices for fruit and vegetables increased by 1.2% on average, with the prices for cabbage rising by 3.22%, cucumbers by 2.45%, apples by 0.22%, carrots by 1.43%, onion by 0.72%, tomatoes by 2.59%, potatoes by 0.98%.
The prices for gasoline increased by 0.1%, for diesel fuel by 0.2%.
